Other delivery Information:

Standard Delivery:  £3.99 or free over £49.99.   We aim to despatch all standard delivery orders within one working day.  You should expect to receive your order within 2-5 working days.  Depending on the service used this may be delivered on a Saturday but until your order is process we will not be able to confirm this.  Nor are we able to deliver on a requested day.  

Premium Delivery:  £5.99 Premium delivery orders are sent using next day services and take priority of despatch over all orders at the time of making your order.  We aim to process all Premium Delivery orders within hours but always within 12 hours.  You should expect to receive your order in 1-3 working days.  We are unable to provide deadlines for this because stock may be held in more than one warehouse.  We cannot guarantee a delivery day but will use the fastest service available and your order will be treated as priority.  We often achieve next working day if orders received by around mid day.

Free Delivery is available to anyone spending and maintaining an order of £50 or more.  It is important to note that if a return means the total order was below this threshold, the value of standard delivery at the time of the order is reduced from any refund. An example of this is: Order = £52.00, an item costing £12 is returned making the total value of that order £40, so the standard delivery charge applies.  Total order is the price of goods in trolley including any offers before delivery cost.

We cannot guarantee the exact delivery date because we use third party delivery services.

Accepting Delivery - Important:  
If the item is delivered to you damaged in transit DO NOT accept delivery.  Instead, refuse this delivery at the door stating the reason.  They will return it to us.  Let us know you have done this.

Exceptions to the above:
May include e.g. Bank Holidays etc that will have different time scales and we update this at the bottom of this page whenever those time scales change.  We continue to do all we can to ensure that your parcel is despatched and arrives as quickly as possible, within the bounds of these restrictions of course.
Northern Ireland, Highlands & Islands, Channel Islands 
Some areas of the UK take 2 days longer to deliver. If you live in one of these areas you will know this. 
Stock: In the rare event that an item is out of stock, we shall contact you asap to determine whether you wish to receive a suggested alternative, wait for our new specified delivery date or to confirm that we have refunded your order if no suitable alternative is able to be suggested.
Missed Delivery:  
If you miss your delivery, the driver will do one of the following (depending on how RM decide to treat missed deliveries). They may:
  • Ask a neighbour to take this for you.  
  • Leave you a card for you to contact them 
  • Leave parcel in a safe place such as a porch
  • Feel free to email us with additional instructions - such as neighbour no. 13 ... we can add this only if you send it immediately after placing your order
Follow instructions on the card for redelivery or contact the carrier with your tracking info (sent via email).  We cannot do this for you.  We are not the best people to decide your best redelivery day and time, so please speak with the people on the card number as this will make this job much easier for you. 

After 2 attempts the parcel may be returned to us.  In this case we will refund your order, but not postage costs.  In addition, we charge an admin fee of £4.99 towards our actual costs of sending you an undelivered/returned parcel.  This value amounts to less than the amount it would have cost us to process, pack and send to you.  


Changes to the above information:
Christmas + Covid!  This seriously is a time when when everyone pulls together...  
Due to us reducing staff hours and working patterns to ensure distancing rules are wholly maintained throughout the service orders may take up to a day longer than usual to process and despatch.  In addition delivery may take up to a day longer because their services may be affected in your area / on that day. This whole thing may add 2 days to the whole process.  We are aiming for this not to be the case, of course, but we wanted to outline this as it is possible. Thank you for being understanding about this.  Stay safe.
